Multiple suspects were arrested in Southern California on Thursday in connection with the accidental drug overdose death of actor Matthew Perry last year.
Perry, 54, was found face-down on the edge of a heated swimming pool at her Pacific Palisades home on October 28, 2023, Breitbart News reported.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office friend Starr’s death was due to the acute effects of ketamine, a hallucinogenic anesthetic.
Perry was found dead in a hot tub by staff at her Los Angeles home on October 28.
Los Angeles ABC News affiliate KABC Confirmed A law enforcement source said: “The arrests were made in a raid early Thursday morning and include a doctor.”
The outlet reported that a police investigation into Perry’s death has led to the arrests of at least one doctor and several drug dealers.
According to TMZ, police “executed search warrants and seized computers, phones and other electronic devices” in an effort to determine who supplied Perry with the illegal prescription ketamine that led to her death.
The arrested doctor and dealer allegedly helped arrange for the ketamine and deliver it to Perry.
