Microplastics Found in Human Hearts
Microplastics are a pervasive issue today, turning up in almost every aspect of our lives—from the water we drink and the food we consume, to the air we breathe. Alarmingly, scientists have detected these tiny particles in human heart tissues. A recent study involving over 200 surgery patients uncovered that close to 60% had microplastics or even smaller nanoplastics in a significant artery. Shockingly, those with these plastic particles were found to be 4.5 times more likely to experience a heart attack, stroke, or even death within about 34 months after their surgery, compared to individuals without such contamination.
Dr. Robert G. DeBease, a Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy and Chiropractic with nearly three decades of experience, is raising awareness about this concerning discovery and is sharing practical strategies for detoxifying from these harmful substances.
“Microplastics are now being found in the human heart. The more you have, the greater your risk of a heart attack,” Dr. DeBease stated. He emphasized that these particles aren’t just found in water bottles or food packaging anymore; they’re also appearing in the brain, lungs, gut, testes, and even the bloodstream.
Devoted to holistic health, Dr. DeBease believes that while microplastics are widespread, their adverse effects can be managed. He suggests four evidence-based methods for reducing microplastic accumulation and safeguarding long-term health.
