'Doctor Who' Actor Faces Charges for Six Sexual Crimes

Noel Clarke, known for his role in “Doctor Who,” has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism, and one charge of exposure.

The incidents are said to have occurred between 2007 and 2016 and allegedly involve five women, as reported by The Independent.

A representative from the Metropolitan Police stated that these charges followed an investigation that began in September 2025.

The 50-year-old actor is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21.

Bethan David, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS London, mentioned, “Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring this case to court and that it is in the public interest to do so,” according to The Independent.

Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney is overseeing the inquiry into the allegations against Clarke. He indicated that the alleged victims are being supported and encouraged anyone else who might have been affected to step forward.

“We urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police. The information you provide will be dealt with in the utmost sensitivity and we have trained investigators on hand to support you,” he expressed.

This news arises five years after The Guardian reported that 20 women had accused Clarke of sexual misconduct and bullying, including claims related to his time on the set of “Doctor Who.” Clarke denied these allegations previously and lost a libel case against The Guardian in August 2025, as noted by the BBC.

Clarke portrayed Mickey Smith in “Doctor Who” from 2005 to 2010 and has also been involved in projects like “Kidulthood” and “Star Trek Into Darkness.”
