Dodgers Unveil Impressive 2025 World Series Ring

The Dodgers had some big ideas for their 2025 World Series ring, clearly wanting it to stand out.

“That’s quite a lot,” manager Dave Roberts quipped during a recent gathering.

Retired pitcher Clayton Kershaw chimed in, remarking, “I heard the rings are a bit over the top.”

When the team revealed the ring at the pregame ceremony at Dodger Stadium on Friday night, it certainly seemed that every detail had been thought through with great care.

As for the ring itself? Well, let’s just say it was elaborately designed, especially for Kershaw, who now has three World Series rings over the past six seasons.

The front displays “WORLD CHAMPIONS” crafted from 86 diamonds and 14-karat gold. The “LA” logo, representing the team, is made up of 17 blue sapphires, honoring the 17 postseason games played last year.

The background? It’s adorned with 79 diamonds and 48 round sapphires, not to mention 50 additional diamonds surrounding the bezel and 15 more sapphires woven into the edge, marking the dates from all nine of the Dodgers’ World Series victories. To top it off, a further 70 diamonds frame the centerpiece.

But it’s not all about glitter.

One side of the ring showcases the names of each player above a row of 15 sapphires, while the flip side features “Back 2 Back,” accentuated by 33 diamonds.

In keeping with last year’s tradition, the top of the ring can be removed, revealing home plate dirt from Game 7 encased beneath a glass window.

And just to keep track, the outer band highlights total fan attendance for Dodgers games in 2025: a whopping 4,012,470.

So, if I counted correctly, that’s over 250 diamonds and nearly 100 sapphires—pretty impressive, right?

The ceremony itself was quite a spectacle, with actor Anthony Anderson introducing players from the infield and the USC marching band performing in the background.

Players recognized included World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Game 3 hero Will Klein, among others. Notably, left-handed relief pitcher Alex Beshear, who missed the World Series due to a personal tragedy, was emotionally welcomed back on the field.

As the ceremony wrapped up, Kershaw was the last to receive his ring. He emerged from the dugout to unexpectedly throw a first pitch.

Freeman stepped up to catch his throw, a perfect strike, and then the team gathered to present Kershaw with his third and final World Series memorabilia.

Kershaw proudly wore the ring, raising his fist for all to see, and basked in the enthusiastic reception from the crowd. This moment marked the end of his playing career, as well as the celebration of the Dodgers’ 2025 victory.
