Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts’ time on the disabled list ended this week.
The eight-time MLB All-Star is back in the Dodgers lineup but is not expected to return to the team hotel on Monday following Los Angeles’ game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Last year, Betts declined to stay at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, and this year, the 2018 American League MVP again declined to stay at the hotel over concerns the building might be haunted. Los Angeles Times Reported.

The Pfister Hotel was built in 1893 and has long been rumored to be haunted, with other professional athletes also claiming to have encountered ghosts while staying at the hotel.
Mookie Betts will remain the shortstop but will drop to second in the Dodgers’ batting order behind Shohei Ohtani.
While none of the Atlanta Braves players who visited the infamous hotel in 2022 appeared to have any encounters with the afterlife, the team reportedly dealt with some inconveniences.
Athletic At the time, it was reported that Braves players experienced power outages, water pressure issues and a lack of hot water during their stay at the infamous hotel.

Instead of going to a hotel, Betts decided to secure a short-term rental for the next few days.
Betts said he had stayed at the Pfister Hotel in the past and never experienced any paranormal activity, but claimed he was constantly frightened during his stay and had trouble sleeping.
“But I couldn’t sleep. Every noise was like, ‘Is something going on?'” Books said.
Betts had a forgettable series last year when the Dodgers visited Milwaukee, going 2-for-12 at bats.

Betts has barely played in the past two months as he recovers from a fractured left hand. He mostly played shortstop before the injury but returned to the outfield on Monday when the Dodgers opened a four-game series against the Brewers.
Betts said it was awkward leaving the infield and returning to the outfield.
“It’s not like I’ve been away for years,” Betts said of his return to right field. “It’s not even a year yet. I’m still got the juices flowing.”
