Similar Incidents Raise Concerns
This episode follows another recent incident in North Carolina, where an assistant fire chief’s dog accidentally caused a house fire after biting into a lithium-ion battery. It’s somewhat surprising how these furry companions can sometimes lead to unexpected scenarios.
In a statement, the Chapel Hill Fire Department mentioned that although the dog named Colton emerged from that incident with minor smoke exposure, they are now cautious about leaving him unsupervised.
The Shillington Police Department has not yet provided additional comments on this particular case.
