These dog costumes are absolutely stunning.
Louie, a Yorkie from Sunset Park, dressed up as LL Cool J in an outfit fit for a rap star.
The 7-year-old dog is strutting his stuff for the upcoming 2025 Pet Gala on May 19.
This ensemble was inspired by a well-known mural in the Lower East Side featuring two Grammy winners.
“I noticed the murals and found similar items at home, so it caught my interest,” Louie’s owner, Melissa Mercado, shared with the Post.
The Pet Gala, a delightful furry festival showcasing designs inspired by fashions at the Met Gala, is organized by pet designer Anthony Rubio at GH, located in West 40th Avenue park.
Tickets for what’s dubbed “The Biggest Night of Pet Fashion” are priced at $300, and proceeds will support the AKC Dog Museum in Murray Hill.

Gia Diamond Soto, a blue Chihuahua, will be dressed as the late Pope Francis for the gala happening in western Midtown.
“With the Pope’s passing, it seemed fitting,” remarked her owner, Gladys Rivera.
The ten-year-old Gia is all set to strut her stuff on the red carpet alongside her puppy, Soyer. Dressing up and taking photos? That’s just part of the fun.
“She’s been practicing for about eight weeks now,” Gladys added. “So, she’s quite comfortable with it.”
