Under Attorney General Pam Bondy, the Department of Justice appears to have a different orientation in its ongoing litigation over the Second Amendment Rights.
Bondi Chief of Staff Chad Mizelle said in X that protecting Americans' second amendments is “high priority,” and that the department will “reevaluate some of the positions in recent litigation regarding the issue of the second amendment terms, including silencers.”
“Your pressure worked.”
The announcement will be made after DOJ Moved to delay The decision in the US Fifth Circuit's Court of Appeals after representing the US attorney argued that the oppressors were not protected under the Second Amendment. To get a suppressor, you will need to go through the Bureau of Alcohol, Cigarettes, Firearms and Explosives and pay a $200 tax stamp. Suppressors are legal in most states and are used to help prevent hearing loss during recreational use of guns.

Hill added that while it shouldn't take a pressure campaign to end the Biden era of firearms stance, it's worth it for the DOJ's reversal.
