A Disturbing Allegation at Dollar Tree
A former cashier has come forward with shocking claims about her experience at Dollar Tree. Nashon Taylor alleges that her manager, Tori Rogers, made inappropriate physical contact with her, notably pressing his pelvis against her while he entered the cash register code.
According to a lawsuit filed on June 23, Taylor claims she faced continuous harassment and unwanted advances from Rogers since she started working at the Queens location in January 2024. Despite reporting his behavior to store management, she says nothing was done about it.
In her notice to the court, Taylor detailed instances where Rogers would come up behind her and press against her while ostensibly using the register. She further accused him of groping her and asking her out multiple times each week.
The situation escalated, as Rogers allegedly visited the store outside of his scheduled hours just to harass her. Taylor reported her experiences to human resources several times, but her complaints went unaddressed, making matters worse.
In a troubling twist, Rogers began to falsely accuse Taylor of stealing from the register, which she denied. Ultimately, Taylor resigned in May 2024, yet the harassment reportedly continued. She stated that Rogers began showing up at her new workplace, White Castle, and his friends confronted her there, attempting to intimidate her.
Now, Taylor is seeking over $6.5 million in damages from Dollar Tree. As of now, there has been no immediate response from either Dollar Tree’s or Taylor’s lawyers, and Rogers could not be located for comment.
