Dolly Parton has a special guest planned for this year's Thanksgiving.
During a recent interview With closerParton talked about potentially inviting Duchess Kate, Prince William and their three children to Thanksgiving at Dollywood.
“Oh, I would love to have them come to Dollywood. That would be great!” she said. “The kids were able to ride all the rides, and we treated them like royalty! I feed Kate mashed potatoes – I didn't pay attention to them. I We just let them enjoy what we're enjoying, and I'm sure they want that too, I'd love to have them at Dollywood.”
The legendary country singer missed out on the chance to meet the Princess of Wales in 2023 after she was unable to accept Middleton's invitation to tea at Buckingham Palace due to scheduling conflicts. At the time, Parton was busy promoting her latest album, Rockstar.

In an interview with BBC Radio 2 in August 2023, Parton said she was “very disappointed” not to be able to attend, telling Middleton: “I had no intention of promoting my rock album, so I had to say no. I didn't get it,” he joked.

Although Parton is primarily known as a country singer, she began her acting career in 1980, co-starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the hit comedy film “9 to 5.'' She later appeared in the critically acclaimed 1989 film Steel Magnolias, alongside Julia Roberts and Sally Field.

According to Entertainment Weekly, in April 2024, Jennifer Aniston, through her production company Echo Films, co-wrote the screenplay with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody and announced that she would be working on a remake of 9 to 5. There was news that they were working on the production.
