Tua Tagovailoa is expected to remain on injured reserve as he recovers from a scary concussion he suffered Thursday.
The Dolphins announced Tuesday they had placed the 26-year-old quarterback on injured reserve after he suffered his fourth concussion in Miami's Week 2 loss to the Bills.
Tagaovailoa, who was injured while rushing for a first down in the 31-10 loss to the Bills, will now have “sufficient time to progress through the concussion protocol and meet with an outside neurologist.” According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport,.

The Dolphins have maintained that Tagovailoa's return date is uncertain and he will be sidelined until at least Week 7.
Tagovailoa, who agreed to a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension with the Dolphins over the summer, has “no plans to retire,” it was reported over the weekend.
The Dolphins officially signed former Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley on Tuesday, joining former seventh-round pick Skylar Thompson.
Head coach Mike McDaniel said Monday he wasn't ready to decide “yet” whether to place Tagovailoa on injured reserve, but added, “We'll know in the next few days.”
The Dolphins visit the Seahawks on Sunday.
