Washington DC
On Thursday, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump strolled the red carpet with various celebrities before the world premiere of their new documentary, “Melania,” at the Trump Kennedy Center.
The film, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Brett Ratner, showcases the life of the First Lady. It follows her as she travels from Trump Tower in New York City to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, featuring behind-the-scenes glimpses at the White House. This documentary is the inaugural project from Melania’s film production company, Muse Films.
Prior to the premiere, both President Trump and Melania discussed her increased vocal presence this term. “I’ve noticed that myself,” President Trump mentioned to Fox News Digital. “She’s become more outspoken. That’s something that, well, evolves over time. She’s done a fantastic job. She’s very popular and well-respected.”

“I’m very selective about what I do and what I say,” Melania also expressed to FOX Digital. “That’s my choice. I’m mission-driven and action-oriented, and we had a truly successful first year as first lady. I’m proud of what we achieved.”

Several notable guests who attended the premiere commended the First Lady and expressed hopes that the documentary would provide the public with insight into her narrative. U.S. attorney Alina Haba shared her thoughts, stating, “I hope they see what I see. She’s incredibly astute and involved. Everything she does reflects grace. She took the hits alongside him and maintained her poise. It’s about time the girl who was supposed to be on the cover of Vogue shines.”
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins commented, “I consider her a good friend. She’s kind, smart, and truly amazing, obviously very private and doing things on her own terms. I think you’ll catch a glimpse of that in tonight’s movie. She’s just refreshing—almost looks like President Trump, which is why they mesh so well. She’s carving her own path.”
Rollins also noted Melania’s more outspoken nature during Trump’s second term, recognizing her contribution to America First policies in his first term.
“She’s coming out and voicing her opinion, and that really matters,” Speaker Mike Johnson remarked to FOX News Digital. “She’s intelligent, courteous, and humble. I think she’s a great role model, and the more I converse with her, the more I appreciate her.”
As Melania balances her business, philanthropy, and family life, she prepares for her second term as First Lady. The 104-minute film will hit theaters globally on January 30th, reaching audiences in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Israel, the UAE, and beyond.
“We’re honored to host the premiere of ‘Melania,’” Trump Kennedy Center Director Richard Grenell conveyed to Fox News Digital. “As First Lady and President Emeritus of the Trump Kennedy Center, she’s an incredible advocate for the arts, and audiences will surely enjoy this behind-the-scenes view of her journey leading up to President Trump’s second inauguration. The film highlights her steadfast commitment to service and her place in American history.”
“Melania embodies the grace and strength that define a First Lady, and we are proud to present this engaging documentary at the Trump Kennedy Center,” Roman Daravi, vice president of communications, stated. “Mrs. Trump’s dedication to America is powerfully captured in this film, leaving audiences inspired by her poise and purpose. We’re honored to celebrate her legacy and contributions to our nation in such a notable venue.”
