Donald Trump Cheered at NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600

Donald Trump is known for putting on staged appearances, and he didn’t disappoint when his plane landed near Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday.

President Trump continued around the track, walking along pit road.

Of course, when a former president walks down pit road, it’s to be expected that he’ll rise to a position of power. After all, there are professional similarities between a commander in chief and a crew chief.

Trump’s visit to the Coca-Cola 600 – the first presidential visit in the race’s history – comes at the end of a busy week in which the former president spoke (and danced) before a crowd of thousands in the Bronx, whipped up a Libertarian crowd on Saturday and thrilled horse racing fans on Sunday.

Not a bad week.
