Donald Trump Greets First White House Tour Since Melania Reopened Them

President Donald Trump greeted his first White House tour on Tuesday since his wife, Mrs. Melania Trump, reopened them to the public.

“Thank you for coming,” Trump told the group. “The tour is so great… it's just a really good job. The first lady worked so hard to make it perfect, and I think you're really going to love it.”

Trump went on to tell the group that he heard they were there and insisted he would stop by.

“A very clever guy, I have to say, very clever. Maybe one day you'll be here as president, right? Someone in this group has a chance,” Trump said.

“Have a great time! Have a great tour, and you're going to give them a special tour. Now, you're going to take a special tour. Everyone, have fun,” he added. Ta. The group then began to chant “USA!”

As First Lady Melania Trump, the tour on February 25th came as planned announcement In a press release earlier this month, the White House said it will officially reopen from February 25th for a public tour.

“The President and I are thrilled to reopen the White House for those interested in the extraordinary tale of this iconic and beautiful landmark,” she said in a statement.

“There's so much to learn about our country's rich history from our American presidency, our first family living here, and our first-time experiences at the White House,” she continued.

“The opportunity is unique among countries around the world and we are honored to continue for hundreds of thousands of visitors each year,” she added.

The press release said the public tour was “requested through members of the council, and requests could be submitted up to three months in advance.”

Self-guided tours usually last about 45 minutes, from 7:30am to 11:30am, Friday through Saturday, 7:30am to 1:30pm (excluding federal holidays, or Otherwise, be careful) “depending on the announcement.”
