Washington:
Donald Trump Jr. is facing an illegally hunt protected duck type accusation in Italy, causing anger among environmental and local politicians. A video issued by Field Ethos, a website established by Trump Jr., indicates that it is shooting duck in a protected area near Venice, including rare Ruddy Shelduck.
Italian environmental and politician Andrea Zanononi said that killing protected birds was a crime and accused Trump Junior's actions. Zanoni claims that Trump Jr. hunted in a conservative area protected by the European Union without a normal license.
This video, shot at Pierimpie 'Valley, south of Venice, indicates that Trump JR shoots ducks from pit blinds before speaking to the camera. He is surrounded by dead birds, including the European Union's bird command and the rare Radi Sheldac protected under the Italian wildlife protection law.
Zanoni complained to the judiciary and said, “Venet and Italy are not American property.” Luana Zanella, a member of the Italian lawyer, escalated complaints to the Ministry of the Environment in search of an explanation of the case.
Venice Democratic Party Monica Sambo opposed Trump Junior's actions and said, “The protected seeds have been killed in Venice Lagoon, a protected environment.”
This controversy caused a fierce debate on Italy's hunting regulations and conservation. Trump Junior's actions have been widely criticized, calling him to be charged with his involvement in illegal hunting of protected species.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that Trump Junior was involved in hunting controversy. In 2019, he faced criticism that he had killed a rare Argari goat in Mongolia without obtaining the necessary permission. He is also accused of promoting trophy hunting through the spirit of the field of his website.
