Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson Tie the Knot
Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson recently got married just before their much-anticipated wedding celebration in the Bahamas.
A marriage certificate obtained by a media outlet revealed that they officially wed on May 21. The couple made things official by visiting a deputy clerk in Palm Beach County prior to their extravagant reception on a private island. It’s believed that Brad McPherson, a real estate professional known for his connections with the Trump family, officiated the ceremony.
Reports indicated that they wanted to take care of this legal step before their vows, which will occur outside the U.S.
Interestingly, the marriage certificate notes that Bettina chose not to take on the Trump surname legally.
The upcoming wedding celebration is set to be intimate yet lavish, involving just a small group of family members and close friends. Notably, President Donald Trump will not be in attendance during the festivities.
In a message shared on Truth Social, he expressed his regrets: “While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump family, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to government, and my love for the United States, do not allow me to do so.”
He added, “I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina! President Donald J. Trump”
