Donald Trump Jr. is not interested at all in running in 2028.

Donald Trump Jr. has not completely dismissed the idea of a political career, though he has stated he’s not looking to run “anytime” soon. At an economic forum in Qatar, he was questioned about the possibility of taking office once his father finishes his term. While he didn’t outright close the door on that idea, he remarked, “I don’t know. Maybe someday… that call will be there.”

It’s worth noting that Democrats have already started to set their sights on the 2028 presidential race, even with Trump just a few months into his current term.

In a post on X, he clarified that the 2028 election is not on his radar. “And for what it’s worth, I always said I wouldn’t rule it out completely, but I’m not interested in running for office anytime soon,” he expressed.

Donald Trump Jr. is, of course, the eldest son of President Donald Trump, who just embarked on his second term not long ago. Interestingly, in the historical context, there have been only two instances in American history of father-son presidential pairs, those being George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, along with John Adams and John Quincy Adams.
