President Donald Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos on Thursday denounced failed policies championed by global elites under the Biden administration.
The business community often supported the priorities of the radical left, which voters rejected in Trump's landslide victory.
“I took swift action to reverse each of these radical left policies, especially on immigration, crime, and inflation. I made it official policy in the United States: There are two genders. We have no choice!'' Trump told the world's elites.
“I'm happy to report that America is once again a free country,” President Trump said. “On day one, I signed an executive order ending all government censorship. Our government will no longer label the speech of its own citizens as misinformation or disinformation.”
President Trump has called on Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan and other major banks to abolish conservative banks.
“I want them to start opening up the banks to conservatives,” he said in response to a question from Moynihan. “Bank of America, they don't accept conservative businesses…You have to open the bank to conservative people because what you're doing is wrong.”
President Trump also mentioned tariffs and NATO.
“My message to all companies around the world is very simple: come make your products in America and we will give you the lowest taxes of any country on earth…but if you “If you don't make the product in America, you very easily will have to pay customs duties,” he said.
He called on NATO countries to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP from 2% under the current agreement.
