Donald Trump Says He Has “No Intention” Of Easing Steel, Aluminum Tariffs

Since January, Donald Trump has taxed multiple trading partner partners and imports.

Washington, USA:

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Washington “has no intention” to ease tariffs on steel and aluminum as the edge towards a full trade war with key partners.

Since January, Trump has taxed multiple trading partners, taxing imports, including steel and aluminum, shaking financial markets and fearing that his plans could bring the world's biggest economy into a recession.

The president told Air Force reporters he was not going to make an exception to tariffs, “No, I don't intend to do that.”

Instead, he doubled his pledge to impose mutual collections on April 2 to improve trade practices on April 2, deeming Washington unfair, increasing the likelihood that more products and trading partners would be specifically targeted.

“April 2 is a liberating day for our country,” he said.

“Billions of dollars have already come to our country and we've had a lot of money since April 2nd.”
