Donald Trump Says ‘Trial Is a Disgrace … Just Look at the Polls’

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday condemned his criminal trial, citing the latest polling that supports his assumptions about the political nature of the case.

President Trump reiterated his claim that the lawsuit against him is part of political persecution.

Every legal expert, every jurist, agrees that this trial is a disgrace. “,” President Trump said. “If you look at Jonathan Turley or Andy McCarthy, they’re all great jurists. Trump also addressed the legal arguments for the lawsuit.

“I paid my attorney’s fees and court costs, and I listed them as legal costs. That’s right, so I’m going to be indicted for that?” Trump asked. “Check that out. Litigation costs, legal costs, I guess that’s what you should call them.”

Trump then took aim at Biden, linking his legal challenge to the White House.

“This is all coming from the White House because this guy can’t put two sentences together,” President Trump said. “He can’t campaign and he’s trying to use this to win elections. And it’s not working. It’s working the other way around… look at the polls. This is a sham trial. is.”

“I’m supposed to be campaigning in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, a lot of other states right now,” Trump added.
