Donald Trump Secures Victory in Oklahoma Republican Primary

Former President Donald Trump wins Oklahoma Republican primary by landslide, Associated Press projected.

Connecticut 7:00 p.m. Minutes after voting closed at 7:00 p.m., Trump was declared the winner with nearly 80% turnout and 7% of votes counted. There are 43 delegates at stake in Oklahoma.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley came in a distant second place, with just over 18% of the vote as of 30 minutes after voting closed.

For the Democratic Party, the Associated Press projected President Joe Biden won the state of Oklahoma, where he joined other candidates who did not receive the support of Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson.
