Kentucky Senate Candidate Advocates for Trump Nobel Prize
Nate Morris, a Republican candidate for the Kentucky Senate, recently expressed in an interview that he believes President Donald Trump should be honored with a Nobel Peace Prize that is, in fact, named after him. He made these comments on Breitbart News Saturday.
“President Trump deserves this to be the Trump Award,” Morris stated. He went on to highlight the origins of the prize, mentioning Alfred Nobel, who was known for inventing dynamite. Morris explained that Nobel created the prize to counterbalance his controversial legacy, aiming to symbolize virtue. “This prize stands for individuals who promote peace and justice, which is what it truly represents,” he added.
“In my opinion, no one better exemplifies these traits than President Trump,” he asserted. Morris strongly feels the award should be renamed in Trump’s honor, suggesting that it’s unnecessary for a dynamite figure to retain its association with the prize. He openly criticized the decision not to award Trump, calling it a fraud, especially in light of the President’s recent peace deal.
“A thousand years from now, they’ll still be discussing the deal President Trump brokered,” he said. “That’s at the core of our campaign. We need new faces in politics. We need business-savvy individuals who can negotiate effectively. That’s where President Trump excels.” He underlined that Trump’s outsider status is what has led to actual results, results that many deemed impossible.
“These career politicians just don’t know how to make deals,” he said, referring to his Republican challengers, Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron. “They just shuffle paperwork in Washington like bureaucrats with no real understanding of the situation. I’m thankful for President Trump, who’s continually made historic deals, and this is just another remarkable achievement.” Morris stressed that this kind of lasting peace deserves celebration and believes a renamed award could reflect that.
“It’s time to replace the dynamite guy with Trump. He absolutely merits this recognition for the unprecedented achievements in the Middle East, and it’s crucial to bring more outsiders into Washington,” he emphasized. Morris concluded that the right leadership at the right time is what led to significant progress, suggesting it was vital for not only the U.S. but for global peace as well.
