MSNBC commentator Donnie Deutsch said Monday on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” that former President Donald Trump wants to “end democracy.”
“The only thing Donald Trump always wanted for himself is that we spend so much time talking about how rogue and just a disgusting person he is,” Deutsch said. “It never meant anything because he did it, but he was able to say to the voters, 'I said this.' Please take care of yourself. I'm here for you. When you start saying I'm rooting for the Great Depression or I'm not going to vote for this border bill because it's bad, you can no longer say I care about you, the voter. Will come back to haunt him. ”
He added, “You know, immigration was one of the things that I was very concerned about, both personally and as a political analyst, and I still am, and that was taken away from him. Donald. – You can constantly say Trump killed the bill. He's behind it even if he doesn't do it directly. Donald Trump is rooting for a recession. Donald Trump will take away your health care. Donald Trump wants to end democracy. Donald Trump is not interested in defending democracy around the world. Donald Trump is not interested in defending your right to choose. I'm not interested in him. There are a lot of chips against him.”
