Former President Donald Trump’s enormous fundraising numbers show his campaign’s “witch hunt” has “backfired spectacularly,” Carolyn Leavitt, national spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, said in an interview. Breitbart News Saturday.
The Trump campaign raised $53 million in the 24 hours after the verdict was read in Trump’s business records trial on Thursday night, compared with just over $20 million raised by the Democratic Party as a whole in the 24 hours. Roe v. Wade It was overturned.
“This is unprecedented. This is historic. This is epic. President Trump raised more money in 24 hours than the entire Democratic Party raised last month and more than the entire Biden campaign raised,” Leavitt said.

“They hoped that this trial and the resulting shameful guilty verdict would be the end of President Trump, but they have been proven wrong. The American people see this for what it is: a sham trial led by unscrupulous Joe Biden, the Democratic establishment and Democratic prosecutor Alvin Bragg, who have spent more money and time pursuing President Trump than they have pursuing actual violent criminals in New York City,” she said, noting that the case was “overseen by a highly conflicted, partisan Democratic judge” but that Trump can’t even talk about that judge because he is still under an “unconstitutional” gag order.
“This election was rigged from the beginning. The American people know that, and that’s why they’re more passionate than ever to support President Trump,” she said, explaining, “There’s now a clear shift in momentum and energy toward President Trump.”
“Enthusiasm for President Trump and the MAGA movement has never been higher, and we are back on the campaign trail, committed to taking the message of President Trump’s victory to every corner of this country,” she said. “And ultimate victory will come on November 5th.”
