Donna Brazile declines to comment on Jill Biden's stroke revelation from the 2024 debate

Donna Brazile Responds to Jill Biden’s Comments

Former acting chair of the Democratic National Committee, Donna Brazile, has opted not to engage in discussions about Jill Biden’s recent remarks regarding her husband’s performance during the 2024 presidential debate.

In a recent CBS interview, Jill Biden expressed her anxiety while watching her husband debate President Donald Trump, sharing that she feared he might be experiencing a medical crisis, potentially even a stroke. This raised more questions about Joe Biden’s age and health, especially given the scrutiny surrounding his debate performance.

“I’m not interested in talking about Jill Biden right now,” Brazile stated when asked for her thoughts on the former first lady’s comments about the debates.

As discussions heat up around the upcoming 2024 election and the factors contributing to the Democrats’ losses, Fox News Digital pressed Brazile for insights, particularly in light of the recent release of the 2024 DNC autopsy report, which analyzed the party’s setbacks.

Emphasizing a forward-looking perspective, Brazile dismissed calls for reflection. “Donna Brazile is not going to focus on the past,” she noted. “Donna Brazile wants to focus on the future.”

Brazile highlighted that Democrats made their decision when Biden decided to step back from his re-election efforts and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris.

A seasoned strategist, Brazile has played significant roles within the Democratic Party over several election cycles and has been vocal about the party’s direction even amid setbacks.

There has been considerable criticism regarding how Democrats handled issues surrounding Joe Biden’s age and mental fitness, with doubts raised about how this may have influenced the party’s trajectory in 2024.

There’s an internal rift within the Democratic Party regarding Biden’s handling of matters related to Harris’ age and cognitive state before he exited the re-election campaign. Some factions desire a thorough understanding of the factors leading to Biden’s withdrawal, while others feel it’s time to focus on recovery for the coming midterms and future elections.

Brazile made her stance clear, stating, “People who are focused on the past are not focused on the future. I’m really focused on ’26, ’28, and ’32.”
