‘Doomsday mom’ says Jesus spoke to her in spiritual vision, showed her prison release

Lori Vallow, known as the Idaho “The End of the Day Mom,” expressed her belief in being released from prison in her first television interview since conspiring to kill her husband, Chad Daybell in 2019 and was sentenced to life in prison in 2023.

Convicted of death, Vallow and Daybell killed Vallow's youngest children, JJ Vallow, 7, and Tyree Ryan, 16, and Tammy Daybell's first wife, Tammy Daybell. Vallow maintains her innocence.

“I have seen what Jesus showed me in the future when I was in heaven, but we were… not in prison,” Vallow told “Dateline” in a new episode in which she and Daybell were asked about her belief that she and Daybell would be exonerated Friday night. “And they were still in the future.”

Vallow also targeted the media in a “Dateline” interview, saying, “They exaggerate everything, make things, twist things.”

Vallow added that she was “absolutely” misunderstood.

The so-called cult mom is brought to trial in Arizona as she allegedly conspired to kill her fourth husband, Charles Vallow and her nie's ex-husband after the judge recently denied a motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

After JJ and Tylee were reported missing in September 2019 and Tammy Daybell passed away a month later, Vallow and Daybell married in Hawaii in October 2019 in November of the same year. They began stealing JJ and Tyree's Social Security benefits after losing their loss.

JJ and Tylee were found in Daybell's shallow grave Country Rexburg Real Estate In June 2020, the 16-year-old's body was burned, and the 7-year-old was tied to duct tape.

When asked if she was at the location of the child murders, Vallow told Dateline in an interview, “I wasn't there.”

Idaho prosecutors argued at Vallow and Daybell's trial that the pair had extreme religious beliefs. They believed that the “dark” spirit was very dark and could actually be a zombie.

Colby Ryan, Vallow's eldest son and only surviving child, is also featured in the “Dateline” episode.

“I think I was always the kind of person who was positive and the best. And seeing someone who knew what she did in my life, it changed the way I saw people,” Colby told “Dateline” when he asked how her mother's crimes had affected him. “The way my sister was treated was hatred.

The “Dateline” interview also featured an interview with Doug Hart, a retired FBI-directed special agent who is a former lead detective at the Rexburg Police Station. Sheriff Ronball. And det. Ray Elmosilo of the Rexburg Police Station.

During her sentence, Vallow spoke publicly for the first time since her arrest in 2020, appearing to be denying her children, saying they knew they were “happy and busy in the spiritual world.”

“I have communicated a lot with the Savior of this world and our heavenly parents. I have had many angel visitors who have communicated with me and even appeared to me for these communications.”

“I know that my children are happy and busy in the spiritual world. I know that she is very happy and very busy, too, because of my communication with my friend Tammy Daybell.”

In a statement to the court, Vallow added that she “dead in the hospital” while working with her daughter, Tyree. The doctor resurrected her, and at which point she began to see the spirit.

“One of the days when Tyree came to me as a spirit after she passed away… she told me, 'Stop worrying, mom. We're fine.' She knows how I worry and how I miss her,” Vallow said at the time.

The so-called “cult mom” was handed over to Arizona about four months after being sentenced to life in Idaho without parole in November 2023.
