Doriane Pin has her eyes on 2025 F1 Academy title

On Wednesday, Mercedes announced the colouring for the 2025 Formula One Academy entry, driven by Dorian Ping in the second season.

Speaking about the upcoming F1 Academy season, Ping revealed that she has one goal in mind: the title.

Ping took part in the 2024 F1 Academy campaign as one of her favorites for the F1 Academy Driver title, despite her year representing her first full season in single-season racing. She scored three wins and five more podium finishes, falling second behind Abbi Pulling.

These results helped her team Prema Racing win the championship for the Formula One Academy team alongside Maya Weug and Tina Hausmann.

Currently, Pin focuses on driver titles.

“I'm really excited for the new season. I've worked very hard over the winter to prepare as much as I can for the next year. I'm determined to give it everything I have and push myself even further to fight for the title. That's the only goal I have in mind,” Ping said.

“Revealing the colouring of this year's car is another milestone that will help build my excitement. I think it looks absolutely incredible and it's a great honor to represent Mercedes and the team's junior program at the Formula 1 Academy. We would also like to thank Snapdragon for its continued support. We look forward to starting in China later this month and being proud of everyone. ”

The 2025 F1 Academy will have a seven-race weekend starting with China's Grand Prix later this month. The schedule includes the pair's races in the US, first at the Miami Grand Prix in May and at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.
