Doug Emhoff Paid $80k ‘Hush Money’; Was Never Prosecuted

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff reportedly paid $80,000 in “hush money” to his former nanny as part of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), but unlike President Trump, he was not indicted.

Former President Donald Trump was indicted in New York and found guilty on 34 counts of failing to list a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) payment to porn star Stormy Daniels (aka Stephanie Clifford) as a campaign expense. (He denies having an affair).

Democrats, including Mr. Emhoff's wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, cited the New York incident and called Mr. Trump a “convicted felon.” However, Emhoff is also said to have paid “hush money.”

Emhoff divorced his first wife in 2020 and married Kamala Harris in 2014. She ran for Senate in 2015-2016.

It is unclear whether Mr. Emhoff has signed a non-disclosure agreement with the alleged assault victim. Her story has not been revealed until now, but daily mailAll sources are friends of the alleged victim. She herself declined to comment (as did Emhoff).
