Doug Emhoff’s ex-wife, Kerstin, is ‘in the fight’ with Kamala Harris, he says

Vice President Kamala Harris’ sudden run for the White House has an all-hands-on-deck contingent, including, of course, her husband Doug Emhoff’s ex-wife, Kirsten.

On Thursday, a second man appeared as guest of honor on a conference call of “Black Gay Queer Men Supporting Harris,” vowing to “do everything in our power to win this election.”

“They’re doing everything they can. My ex-wife is fighting. Everyone is fighting. We have to protect [Harris]Pray for her and make sure she wins,” he said.

Doug’s ex-wife has already defended Harris against “baseless attacks” by J.D. Vance, Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick.

Kirsten, who has two children, son Cole, 29, and daughter Ella, 25, with Doug, released a statement slamming Vance’s comments in 2021, in which he slammed Harris and other female celebrities as “a bunch of childfree catwomen who are miserable in their lives.”

“This is a baseless attack. Kamala has worked alongside Doug and me as parents for over a decade, since Cole and Ella were teenagers,” Kirsten said in a statement to CNN.

“She’s loving, caring, fiercely protective and always there for us. I love our blended family and am grateful to have her there,” she said.

“Friends” star Jennifer Aniston, 55, also weighed in, telling Vance, “I hope your daughter is lucky enough to have her own child one day. I hope she doesn’t have to resort to the second option of IVF, because you’re trying to take that option away from her as well.”

Vance During an interview with Megyn Kelly, she spoke about the cat-loving comments. on friday.

He told the conservative host that his message was aimed at “childless leftists.”

“I know the media will attack me and want me to back down on this, Meghan, but what I’m saying is, having a child, being a father, being a mother … it really does change the way you think in a pretty fundamental way,” he said.

This week, a “White Women for Harris” conference call, attended by 100,000 people including Maria Shriver, Pink and Connie Britton, crashed on Zoom.

An earlier “Black Women Supporting Harris” Zoom session inspired subsequent calls, including a “Black Men Supporting Harris” virtual fundraiser.

Don Lemon was also in attendance and spoke at a call for Black gay and queer men to support Harris organized by Emil Wilbekin, Alphonso David, and Rashad Robinson.

The call has raised millions of dollars for Harris’ campaign, and Michael Skolnick is organizing a call for “white men for Harris” on Monday. “We’re next,” he wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Doug wants Harris to take a break.

At the end of the call, he told the men, “I’m going to go upstairs and hug her and tell her, ‘Please take a break, because you’ve got about 102 days left to save your country.'”
