Dr. Keith Abloh, a well-known psychiatrist, shared insights about treating Hunter Biden, the eldest son of President Joe Biden, in a conversation with Miranda Devine. This revelation comes quite a while after a previous Fox News contributor hinted at Joe Biden possibly having dementia.
Abloh mentioned that he was probably recommended by Hunter for the treatment, which began in 2018. He noted, “I’ve worked with many prominent individuals and guided quite a few,” showcasing the unusual dynamics of their relationship.
In the past, Abloh stirred controversy during a debate when he confronted Joe Biden about perceived signs of dementia. That incident with then-Rep. Paul Ryan drew attention to Biden’s mental fitness.
When Hunter reached out, Abloh felt that political affiliations faded away in the face of personal struggles. “When you’re in trouble, it doesn’t matter who you are,” he said, emphasizing how desperation can equalize the playing field.
A look into Hunter’s discarded laptop indicated that his treatment with Abloh lasted through late 2018 into 2019.
Abloh further elaborated that Hunter was treated using intravenous ketamine, aiming to help him move away from crack cocaine. During parts of December 2018 and January 2019, Hunter stayed at a cottage near Abloh’s practice and often visited the nearby wellness center to use sensory deprivation tanks.
The two had even discussed the possibility of collaborating on a book during their time working together. However, Abloh denied being the one to administer ketamine but stood by his approaches in treatment.
Referring indirectly to Hunter, Abloh stated, “If someone battling addiction finds some sense of identity as an artist, they might reflect on their treatment as beneficial.” He added that denying change in someone’s life without thorough investigation is akin to denying the chance of redemption.
As Hunter’s meetings with Abloh ceased around April 2019, shortly before Biden’s presidential campaign, he left behind his laptop and other belongings with the psychiatrist.
Abloh recounted encouraging Hunter to retrieve his possessions, mentioning issues surrounding a DEA raid of his office in February 2020. He clarified that, to date, the reasons for the search remain unclear, but he hasn’t faced any legal charges.
