Led by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (Democrat), drag queens danced among the stars in the State Capitol Rotunda.

At the time, House Minority Leader Lisa DeMuth told AlphaNews that many people had contacted her office “troubled by both the inappropriate performance on Friday’s Transgender Day of Visibility and the disrespect shown to the Capitol.”
“Videos circulating on social media showed performers dancing on the North Star state symbol area of the Capitol Rotunda, in clear violation of the Capitol public events rules which clearly state: ‘You may not straddle, stand or walk on the North Star in the Rotunda,'” DeMuth added.
This stance is not surprising, as Walz has been vocal in his embrace of LGBTQ+ issues, praising children as the “stars” of the 2017 “Governor Walz Pride Parade” while running for governor.
“Let’s be honest, they were the real stars of this Sunday’s Governor Walz Pride Parade,” Walz said, proudly sharing a video of innocent children attending the LGBTQ+ political event, according to Breitbart News.
Waltz also Glad Dubbed the “trans refugee” bill, the legislation targets young people from out of state and provides them with irretrievable medical services.
