Drake May Ties the Knot

Last month, Drake May, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, married his childhood friend, Anne Michael May. This ceremony marked a special moment as he gears up for his second year in professional football.

The newly married couple is already making a positive impact in their community, having chosen to give back as they start their life together.

During a broadcast on Sports Hub 98.5, former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak shared that the couple decided to donate their wedding gifts to shelters for children and the homeless in their hometown in North Carolina. Zolak mentioned that it was a thoughtful gesture that May didn’t widely publicize. He described their contributions as including cash and some necessary home goods for those in need, particularly focusing on children who lacked proper fitting shoes.

May and Anne have been close since their teenage years, and they attended the University of North Carolina together. The Patriots selected May as the third overall pick in the 2024 draft. Last season, he played in 13 games, throwing for 2,276 yards with 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, which also earned him a Pro Bowl selection.

Looking ahead, the Patriots are set to continue building on May’s promising career as he leads the team into 2025.
