Drake Maye shares a touching moment during Super Bowl 2026 by ranking his wife's baked treats.

Drake May’s Journey with Wife Ann Michael May

Drake May’s rise to prominence with the Patriots in 2025 includes a personal touch—his wife, Ann Michael May, known for her popular TikTok baking videos. Amid the media buzz in Santa Clara ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl, Drake shared his admiration for Ann, who has been his partner since they were kids, calling her “my better half.”

When asked about her baked treats, he eagerly mentioned her “cinnamon roll snickerdoodles,” which she baked for the linemen earlier that week. “That’s my favorite,” he said. He then ranked some others, putting “Puppy Chow” in third and the “pistachio bread” at two, though he wasn’t too fond of it, labeling it a “crumbling imitation.”

Ann’s TikTok following has surged to 512,000, especially with her holiday-themed “Bakemass” series. Just recently, she announced an upcoming show, “Beyond Bakemas,” in collaboration with NBC Sports. Drake remarked on Monday that she is “creating something special every day.”

He humorously noted that, beyond baking, Ann excels at whipping up bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches in the morning. His heartfelt message to her was, “Please continue to be yourself. You are my better half. I love you and keep being you… It’s special for me to follow your journey. You’re doing this for more than just yourself, and that’s what makes it meaningful.”

He later expressed his gratitude for having Ann by his side, affirming, “I just know that there is one person in my life that will always remain the same, and that is my wife.” This sentiment aligns with May’s impressive performance as the former No. 3 overall pick in his second season.

During the regular season, May impressed with 4,394 passing yards, 31 touchdowns, and just eight interceptions. His efforts propelled the Patriots from a 3-14 record last year to 14-3 this season, earning them the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

However, as the Super Bowl approaches, May faces some injury concerns. He missed practice on Friday due to a shoulder issue and illness, though he reassured reporters that he had thrown earlier that day. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels seems unconcerned, indicating that May’s shoulder won’t hinder his performance against the Seahawks on Sunday.
