One lucky Drake fan will get a “super congratulations” from the Canadian rapper at his next show after the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl III on Sunday. Dew.

On Sunday night, Drake, who is on the “It’s All a Blur Tour” with fellow rapper J. Cole, posted a photo on Instagram of his massive $1.15 million bet on the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. I shared it on the gram.

What is the reason behind his choice? “You can’t bet on Swifties,” he captioned the photo.

Now, we’ll find out if Drake is a man of his word after the Chiefs came from behind to beat the 49ers 25-22 on Patrick Mahomes’ magical game-winning drive in overtime.

The Chiefs’ star quarterback used his legs and arms to run down the field at Allegiant Stadium, eventually finding wide receiver Mecole Hardman for a 3-yard touchdown that won the game.

Many didn’t want to bet on Mahomes because he was looking to solidify the Chiefs’ dynasty with his third Super Bowl ring in the past five seasons.

Kansas City also trailed by 10 points early in the game, and Drake may have been nervous about betting on the wrong side in the biggest game of the NFL season.

The “For All the Dogs” rapper was seen cheering on Mahomes in a separate Instagram Story while at the hotel. He watched with us as Mahomes rallied in the second half and ultimately converted a short field goal from Harrison Butker to send the game into overtime.

After Brock Purdy and the 49ers could only kick a field goal in overtime, Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and the rest of the Chiefs ultimately prevailed.
