Drew Lock left the field Sunday and headed to the X-ray room inside MetLife Stadium.
He was sacked just twice on 49 pass attempts, but kept running for coverage and pounding away.
He gave up 13 hits for the Saints, and the Giants lost their eighth straight game, 14-11.
Locke said he was not seriously injured.
“Right now, there are just a few bruises and bruises,” he said afterwards, adding that medical staff “will look at a few things.” [Monday] morning. ''
Lock looked great in his second start with the Giants.
He started 0-for-8 and finished the first half 6-for-19 for 52 yards, but was unable to create any forward momentum on offense.
He used his legs in the second half and heated up a little bit.
He had 21 of 49 hits for 227 yards and one interception.

A fourth-quarter drive produced the Giants' only touchdown, bringing the team within a 35-yard field goal (which was blocked) and sending the game into overtime.
The first half troubled him.
“I just missed some easy questions,” Locke said. “It's one of those first halves that's frustrating coming back. They gave us something, but we didn't make the most of the opportunities they gave us. How I feel about it, it's a classic shooting yourself in the foot. There were a lot of plays where we had chances and didn't take advantage of them.”
It happened.
Cornerback Trey Hawkins jumped out in the third quarter and got the ball off a pass thrown by Derek Carr.
It was an interception, the first for the Giants since Week 1.
11 consecutive games without a pick was a disgraceful record in the NFL.
“That line made him throw like that, so it worked well together,” Hawkins said.
Tommy DeVito appeared briefly early in the fourth quarter. He handed the ball off to Tyrone Tracy.
“There were some plays for Tommy in this game,” head coach Brian Daboll said. “That's the only one we got to. It happened to be kind of a zone read, but it wasn't just every zone read. There were some plays there.” … C John Michael – Schmitz was forced to leave the game in the fourth quarter with a neck injury and missed his first snaps of the season. Veteran G Greg van Roten has moved to the center position. … LG John Runyan Jr. had to leave the field with a sprained ankle. He does not believe it is a high ankle sprain. “My feeling is I'm fine,” Runyan said. “I don’t think it’s long-term.”
CB Deonte Banks missed his second straight game with a rib injury. …LB Bobby Okereke (back) missed his first game in two seasons with the Giants. … Rookie cornerback Jrue Phillips, who had a good first season in the NFL, was sidelined for the second time with a shoulder injury.
