Mysterious drones have been hovering over the East Coast in recent weeks, primarily targeting New Jersey, with at least 3,000 sightings reported in the Garden State so far in December alone.
However, the Federal Aviation Administration said it began receiving reports on Nov. 18.
The Biden administration's national security adviser this week dismissed the controversy, insisting that the objects were planes or helicopters and that he feared Americans were mistaking them for mysterious drones. Meanwhile, a New Jersey lawmaker has stepped up the claim that the ship may have come from an Iranian mothership, a claim denied by the Pentagon.
