Authorities said a drunk teenager struck and killed a 2-year-old boy riding a tricycle outside his home in Florida on Monday after the boy's parents yelled for the driver to slow down.
Joshua Montero, 19, was driving a Toyota Tacoma at a high rate of speed down a Tavares road around 7:15 p.m. when he struck a child riding his bike in a cul-de-sac in front of a home. FOX35 Orlando.
According to the affidavit, the children's parents were standing in their driveway watching their kids ride their bikes and yelled at the driver to slow down.
Police say the driver did not slow down and struck her 2-year-old son, who was riding a blue tricycle.

“Judging by the blood stains left in the road, it appears the truck struck the child and dragged him and his bicycle several feet before coming to a stop,” police said.
Police said the truck's front wheels “full-on” the toddler and neighbours rushed to perform CPR on the boy until emergency services arrived. He was taken to hospital but later died.
