On Saturday night, Duke haters will be out in full force.

The Blue Devils have had some infamous players in their history, but many consider Kyle Filipovski to be the newest.

Saturday night’s matchup between Duke and North Carolina is much more than the greatest rivalry in college basketball.

The ACC title is on the line.

North Carolina State, ranked No. 7 in the nation, earned at least a share of the regular season championship. With a win on Saturday, the Tar Heels will take control of the title. If the Blue Devils win, they will share it with No. 9 Duke.

Filipowski and UNC’s Harrison Ingram fell to the floor after Duke grabbed a defensive rebound in the first half.

Ingram got up first and tried to run to the defender. But before he could take two steps, he tripped over Filipovsky’s foot.

Debate quickly arose as to whether it was intentional or not, and the overwhelming reaction on social media was that it was.
