Dunkin' launched a new drink in partnership with “Espresso” singer Sabrina Carpenter and also promoted a $5 meal deal in an effort to boost sales into 2025.
The donut and coffee chain has launched Brown Sugar Shakin' Espresso. playful promotion Tuesday will feature the Grammy-nominated pop star's “Shakin' That S,” with her hits playing in the background.
“Yeah, 'Shake That S' sounds like 'Shake That A—,'” Carpenter jokes in the ad.
The video was produced by Artist Equity, the production company founded by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who appeared in the coffee chain's Super Bowl commercial earlier this year.
Dunkin' says the limited-time iced coffee drinks include espresso, “brown sugar notes” and oat milk.
“Working with Sabrina Carpenter, one of America's most beloved pop stars, deepens Dunkin's commitment to bold flair and lighthearted fun,” Jill McVicar Nelson, Dunkin' chief marketing officer, said in a statement. It has added a lively, fresh energy that perfectly matches the love.”
Dunkin' also launched a $5 breakfast menu deal available all day on its winter menu. The deal includes two of the chain's delicious Wake Up Wrap sandwiches, each with your choice of egg, cheese, bacon, sausage or turkey sausage. Comes with medium hot or iced coffee.
Like rival fast-food chains, Dunkin' is expanding its online-only discounts.
Dunkin' customers can enjoy $3 off the Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich with the purchase of a beverage through January 6th.
From January 1st through the end of the month, earn an extra 100 bonus points on mobile orders when you shop online on Mondays.
Also, from January 21st to January 27th, mobile customers can order the Hash Brown Brisket Scramble for $3 off with the purchase of a beverage.
McDonald's, the world's largest fast food chain, has found great success with its unique $5 meal deal, a limited-time deal that has been extended multiple times. The chain has since added a MacValue menu through the first half of 2025.
Other fast food chains, such as Wendy's and Burger King, have also started selling meals to attract cost-conscious customers.
