Dustin Rhodes claims the TNT Championship at AEW All In Texas

AEW TNT Championship Match Highlights

On Saturday afternoon in Texas, a four-way match for the vacant All Elite Wrestling (AEW) TNT Championship took place. The competitors included Kyle Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes. The match was set up by AEW founder Tony Khan, as Adam Cole had to relinquish the title due to health concerns before the pay-per-view event.

Both Rhodes and Guevara found themselves juggling multiple commitments. They had already participated in an eight-man tag team match during the pre-show festivities and competed the night prior at the Ring of Honor (ROH) Super Card of Honor. You could really sense the fatigue among them, considering it was their third match in just 24 hours.

In the championship match, Rhodes, 56, showcased all his experience. He delivered a high-impact attack against Fletcher and saw Guevara execute an impressive Spanish fly on Garcia early in the action. All four wrestlers seemed determined to seize the championship, showcasing their skills as best they could.

As the match progressed, Rhodes found himself locking Garcia into a pinfall, securing the victory in a thrilling finish.

For Rhodes, winning the AEW TNT Championship was particularly special. It was an emotional milestone, marking him as a triple champion. He was among the initial wrestlers to join AEW when it launched in 2019, and almost six years later, he finally claimed his first championship title.

Celebrating in the ring, several family members joined Rhodes, sharing in the joy of his triumph. Currently, he holds the AEW TNT Championship, is half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, and has secured six world tag titles with ROH.
