‘Dutton Ranch’ Star Uncertain About Future of the Show

Natalie Alyn Lind, who plays Oleanna Lynn Jackson in “Dutton Ranch,” is unsure about the show’s duration. It’s become quite a talking point, especially since she has quickly become a fan favorite.

There hasn’t been any formal announcement regarding “Dutton Ranch” and what’s next. It raises some interesting questions, really. Will it just be a one-time series, or is Taylor Sheridan planning to establish something akin to the “Yellowstone” universe?

In a recent interview, Lind shared her thoughts on how long she would remain part of the series. “I don’t know. I haven’t asked my lawyer about that. I hope it goes on indefinitely. I love my character, and the cast is like family to me. As long as they want me, I’ll stick around,” she mentioned.

While her enthusiasm for the show is evident, it remains a bit unclear what her commitment truly looks like, especially following some stability issues behind the scenes. Executive producer Christina Voros has also commented on the future of the series, mentioning that it’s difficult to predict after the departure of showrunner Chad Feehan just before the premiere.

Despite these uncertainties, “Dutton Ranch” has resonated well with “Yellowstone” enthusiasts and seems to continue the original’s narrative thread. Its strong cast and engaging storylines certainly set it up for potential success, so it would be surprising if there wasn’t more to come. Only time will tell, I suppose.
