Dylan Walsh was recently involved in a serious car accident that resulted in hospitalization.
The crash involved Walsh, known for “Nip/Tuck,” and some family members, as noted in the reports.
This incident took place on Sunday, August 17, in Lamson, New Jersey, near a local police station. According to reports, Walsh’s 2022 Ford Explorer hit two utility poles before coming to a stop.
It appears that the SUV veered into the opposite lane and collided with a utility pole before hitting additional poles.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that two out of the five people in Walsh’s vehicle reported pain and were taken to a nearby medical center for treatment.
It’s unclear who was behind the wheel or whether the 61-year-old actor suffered any injuries.
Walsh’s representatives addressed the situation, stating that everyone involved has been accounted for and is recovering.
In the wake of this accident, it’s worth noting that it comes just a month after the unexpected passing of his “Nip/Tuck” co-star, Julian McMahon.
Walsh and McMahon starred together in Ryan Murphy’s series from 2003 to 2010, portraying prominent characters throughout the show’s six seasons.
McMahon’s wife, Kelly, shared that her beloved husband passed away on July 2 in Clearwater, Florida, following a private battle with cancer.
In her heartfelt statement, she expressed her desire to share the sad news of McMahon’s peaceful passing, highlighting his love for life, family, friends, and his work.
While she didn’t specify the type of cancer, the news was nonetheless devastating for many.
After McMahon’s passing, Walsh was among several co-stars who paid tribute, sharing fond memories and sentiments about the late actor.
In his tribute, Walsh humorously reflected on their friendship, illustrating a lighthearted moment they shared, and ended with a poignant farewell.
