Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell released a statement regarding the incident and his plight. He claims there are “two sides” to the incident in which he assaulted a woman during the Jan. 12 NFC Wild Card Game.
“Last Sunday, while attending an NFL game to cheer on my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, something very disappointing happened,” Caldwell said in a statement Wednesday. new york post.
“What started as a joke with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated into something more serious and I said something that was unacceptable. I chose these harsh words for Allie Keller.

The abusive fan was later identified as Caldwell, who worked for a DEI consulting firm in New Jersey. That company, BCT Partners, quickly announced that it had begun an investigation into Caldwell's actions during the game, and the company soon confirmed that he had been fired from his job.
Not only was Caldwell fired, he was also banned for life from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and will never be allowed to see his favorite team again.
Caldwell did not receive much support from social media users.
The Eagles will play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for a spot in the NFC Championship Game.
