A male Eagles fan was caught on video spewing lewd comments at a female Packers fan during the Eagles' wild-card playoff game in Philadelphia on Sunday.
An anonymous fan wearing a dark green Eagles jacket verbally abused a Packers fan sitting in front of him on the upper deck of Lincoln Financial Field (who was watching the game with his fiancée). It went viral online, calling her a “bad guy” for all the wrong reasons. Ugly stupid CT. ”

“I wonder what it's like to go to Philadelphia just to cheer on your team…” Basara captioned the post. “For no reason, unsolicited. Packers Twitter, please help me find this guy…This is not okay.”
In the video, Basara can be heard telling a noisy fan not to call her fiancée's name.
“She's ugly and stupid,” Eagles fans snorted back. “Are you going to do anything? Shut up you son of a bitch and watch the game.”
Throughout the accusations, Basara's fiancée remained calm and collected. At one point, she pretends to rub her eyes and makes a “boo hoo” gesture, but otherwise rarely turns her head to look back at Philadelphia fans.
As of Monday afternoon, Basara's X-video had been viewed more than 10 million times and garnered tens of thousands of reactions.
Eagles and Packers fans alike expressed horror at this ridiculous statement. And while some pointed out that such animosity was commonplace among Eagles fans and Philadelphians as a whole, many others pointed out that the ungentlemanly behavior of one fan was a common occurrence among Eagles fans and Philadelphians as a whole. He pointed out that this should not be taken as a criticism.
“I'm shocked you didn't expect this kind of behavior. Philadelphia,” one X user commented.
“Eagle fans as a whole are inappropriate… There are people in every fan base who behave like this, but on average Eagle fans are worse,” another person echoed.
“I'm sorry as an Eagles fan. We're not all like this and I'm disappointed that no one around him said anything,” another wrote.
“We have lifelong Eagles fans here. And last season ticket holders. My husband would have held out for your fiance! Yes, as an Eagles fan. Most of us aren't like that. ” commented a fourth man.
It is unclear from Basara's post whether the Philadelphia fan was subsequently identified.
