Eagles to Celebrate Super Bowl Win at the White House on April 28

Just seven years after President Trump retracted the White House invitation, when it became clear that only 10 Eagles players were scheduled to attend, the Eagles agreed to a specific date to celebrate their Super Bowl victory with President Trump.

The festival date is April 28th.

Because if that date sounds dangerously close to draft time. The NFL Draft will take place on April 24th at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. However, the draft concludes on Saturday, April 26th, giving the Eagles a few days to gather themselves and return to Washington, DC

One thing to note is the number of Eagles players taking part in the White House visit. Not because you would expect to smell the president because of political differences, as happened seven years ago. But because the Eagles' Super Bowl-winning roster is thoroughly destroyed for trade and free agency.

A key part of the team, including defensive end Josh Sweatt, defensive tackle Milton Williams, veteran secondary defender Darius Slay and CJ Gardner Johnson, are the former Eagles who found their new home last month.

Of course, it is doubtful that all of these players' invitations would choose to attend.

The April 28th date will be in the middle of the league's offseason workout. Nevertheless, it's surprising if more than 90% of the Super Bowl roster were not present.
