Eighth-grade boy dies after five-story fall off NY parking garage roof

A Westchester County eighth-grader described as having a “kind heart” died Sunday after accidentally falling from the roof of a five-story parking garage in Harrison, New York.

Sources told The Post that Mark Anthony Giordano, 13, was riding his bike with friends on the roof of a garage near the Halsted Avenue Metro-North station when he fell off the side of the building.

Police are investigating but do not believe there is foul play, the official added.

A student-athlete at Harrison High School, Giordano was an all-league wrestler and football player whose future was “limitless,” according to a GoFundMe set up for his grieving family.

“He will be missed as a kind soul and devoted friend to all he met during his short time here,” fundraiser organizer Frank Barcella wrote on the page.

“Our goal is to help Mark’s family rest in peace and assist with any expenses they may incur during this time of hardship.”

Community members quickly rallied to support the family, and the fundraiser had raised more than $48,000 of its $75,000 goal as of Monday morning.
