Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods' former wife, worried after recent DUI arrest

Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, is expressing concern following his DUI arrest last Friday.

Nordegren indicated that she was particularly worried about Woods, 50, who was taken into custody on drunk driving charges after his Land Rover flipped over in Jupiter Island, Florida.

“The kids are close with Tiger, so, understandably, Elin is worried,” a source shared. “She hopes he’ll get the help he needs. Their two children, Sam, 18, and Charlie, 17, are both doing well and enjoy their time with him. It’s troubling that he found himself in another car accident and faced arrest.”

Woods has a history of trouble on the road; he was involved in another significant crash back in 2009 which led to a major scandal and ultimately affected his marriage to Nordegren. After being arrested for drunk driving in Florida in 2017, he later admitted to taking a combination of pain medications incorrectly.

On Friday, Woods overturned his SUV after it got stuck against a truck, three days after he participated in the TGL Indoor League finals.

According to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek, Woods is suspected of being under the influence of some sort of substance. While he passed a breathalyzer, he declined a urine test. “Mr. Woods exhibited signs of impairment,” Budensiek noted.

Woods managed to post bail late Friday evening and left the Martin County Jail in a black SUV.

Recently, he and Nordegren met to celebrate their son Charlie’s high school golf team’s victory in the Florida state championship, posing for photos at the Benjamin School.

Woods’ relationship history includes notable names like Lindsey Vonn and Erica Herman, and he has been seeing Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, for about a year now.

The famous golfer has faced multiple incidents involving cars, including breaking his leg in a California accident in 2021, which required surgery to repair.
