Elissa Slotkin and Husband to Divorce After Controversial Campaign Cycle

Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Michigan) and her husband are divorcing after 12 years of marriage after a controversial election season.

Slotkin’s Republican opponents attacked her, saying there were over 1,500 apartments available in Lansing, Michigan at the time. Yet Slotkin lived in a house owned by an executive who donated to her campaign.
