Langley recounted the fun story about a kangaroo that Lambert shared, which inspired the song’s concept. “I wanted to ask her about it,” Langley laughed, confirming how a casual conversation transformed into a song.
The song’s success has further shocked even Lambert, who has been supportive throughout, with Langley now feeling grateful for the guidance. “There’s not a rulebook to this job,” Langley said, reflecting on the importance of having a mentor in Lambert.
