Elle Duncan shades ‘snowflakes’ after Daniel Jones takedown

It looks like Elle Duncan has no intention of retracting what she said about Daniel Jones.

In fact, she seems to be criticizing her critics.

“SportsCenter” host Duncan appeared on Daniel Jones' “Taking the Elle” segment this week after criticizing his farewell speech before sharing more of his thoughts on Friday's “First Take.” She has faced a barrage of criticism. , including comments from Pat Hanlon, Giants senior vice president of communications.

But on Saturday morning, Mr. Duncan criticized his fiercest opponents on the issue.

“We had a surprising amount of snow during our drive yesterday, and it's been rough this morning. You might say we won't be able to escape these snowflakes.” I wrote to X.

The ESPN host even added a photo of himself drinking from a mug on the set of “First Take,” as if he were sipping tea.

Jones spoke to the media before being released by the Giants on Friday, effectively his last speech with Big Blue.

Duncan said in his “Taking the El” segment that the former Giants quarterback could have kept his words to the media shorter.

On Thursday, Hanlon was among those who felt Duncan's words to Jones were unfair, and Duncan voiced his dissatisfaction with him on “X” without naming names.

“It's amazing that an ESPN personality would mock what Daniel Jones said today,” he said. I wrote to X. “It's tone-deaf considering what's happened at that company over the past few years.”

On Friday, Jones' final day with the Giants, Duncan said on “First Take” that he has no intention of changing his opinion and strongly believes in his criticism of the signal-caller.

“Are you trying to call me disrespectful to Daniel Jones?” she said. “Am I more rude than the Giants making him a scout team safety? I'm more rude than all of the same fans I'm just mentioning who booed him mercilessly over the past six seasons.” I stand by everything I said.”

Jones was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Duke University and spent six seasons in New York before becoming a free agent.
